Your Hotel Stay in a Nutshell

To make your stay as pleasant as possible, we have put together some information for you.

Air conditioning

All our rooms are air-conditioned. You will find the control panel on the wall. Quick instructions for use (guest rooms 11 – 56, except 31):

When the LED light on the top left of the display is green, the air conditioning is on and running according to the set mode.

Please note that the cooling function is only available during warm weather and that it may take some time before the desired room temperature is reached.

Boarding passes

Reception staff will be delighted to check you in for your flight and print your boarding pass for you.


Whether you are an early bird or a late riser, our hotel breakfast is a perfect kick-start for your day. Enjoy a selection of cold meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs, fruits & yogurt, a range of bakery items and pastries, including butter an jams, and a choice of a hot drink and a glass of fruit juice (vegetarian alternatives are also available and the choice of products may vary). Breakfast is served in our restaurant from 7am until 11.30am at a price of €20 per person, per day, unless the room rate already includes breakfast. Modifications and additional items will be charged as extras.



Your room will be available from 3pm (CET) on the day of arrival. If arrival times are any earlier, we will do our utmost to accommodate. However, please appreciate that during busy periods, access to rooms before 3pm cannot be guaranteed. Guaranteed early check-in can be arranged by booking the night prior to your early arrival. If the room is not ready, you are welcome to use our free luggage storage service.



Our checkout time is 11am on the day of departure. Late checkouts are subject to availability and may incur a surcharge. Our reservations team would be pleased to assist you with this or answer any questions you may have regarding your arrival and departure. Please contact the reception (extension 95).


A cigarette vending machine is located in our basement and one also in the sauna. Neither of the two cigarette vending machines accept banknotes. Should you need coins, please ask for assistance at the reception.

Coffee & breakfast service before 7am

Should you wish to leave our hotel before breakfast service starts (7am), we will gladly prepare a take-away breakfast for you. Please let the reception know at least one day in advance before your departure.

Copying service

One copy is free of charge. Should you wish to copy more than one page, please let the reception know (extension 95). We will charge €0.25 per page.

Events, parties

We are happy to organise weddings, company events, family celebrations, birthdays or parties for other occasions. Please contact our restaurant staff for more information.

Guest invoices

Your restaurant and sauna bills can be booked directly to your room and paid at checkout. A disbursement form needs to be signed before you leave the restaurant and/or the sauna.


Our front-desk staff will be delighted to provide you with tips on going out, dining, city maps, public transport, etc.

Internet (Wi-Fi)

We offer Wi-Fi free of charge.

To get Wi-Fi access, please choose the network ‘Deutsche Eiche | GAST’, accept the Terms of Use in the pop-up menu and click on ‘Connect’.

Kettle/Hospitality tray

Our reception will be glad to lend you a kettle, should you need one (extension 95).

Lost & found

Lost or forgotten items are deposited and administered at our reception. Please consult our front-desk staff if you are missing something.

Luggage storage service

You are welcome to use our free luggage storage service. We will give you a luggage label with a number. Please show this number when you collect your bags.

Massage treatments

To schedule a massage appointment, please contact the reception (extension 95). The massage parlour of our cooperation partner ‘Massage Team München’ is usually open from 11am until midnight.

Men's sauna

Swap the city buzz of Munich for the serenity of the Deutsche Eiche spa. Whether you are in search of relaxation or invigoration, our spa offers can be tailored to your needs. The sauna can be accessed by male hotel guests over 18 at a discounted surcharge of €17 for a day pass with re-entry.


All guest rooms have a minibar. The beverages in the minibar are complimentary and replenished on a daily basis.


A selection of daily newspapers is available in the restaurant.


The Deutsche Eiche has parking spaces for cars and motorbikes at an exclusive parking facility in the immediate vicinity of the main hotel building (€20 for overnight parking; a valet parking service is not available). There is usually a free space for your bicycle directly at the hotel (free of charge). Should you wish to book a parking space during your stay, please contact our reservations team.

Payment options

We accept payments in cash, debit cards (EC Card/Maestro) and credit cards (American Express, Diners, MasterCard, Visa, JCB). Payments by cheque are not accepted.


At the Deutsche Eiche we are delighted to welcome your furry friends. Your pet may stay by prior arrangement only and at a surcharge of €15 per pet, per day. To keep pets and guests happy, we kindly ask pet owners to consult our reservations team on our pet policies.  

Photocopying, printing and scanning

At the reception, we offer you the opportunity to have your documents printed, copied, or scanned confidentially and securely. The service for one page is free of charge! For each additional page, a fee of 0.25 € will be applied. Please contact the reception for this service (dial "95").

Power supply

The guest rooms and their bathrooms have several sockets, using the German standard of 230V/50Hz. Travel adapters are available at the reception.

Room Items/Shower accessories/Additional services

The following articles and services are available on request (subject to availability): dressing gown, slippers, daily change of linen, shower cap, fresh towels, additional pillows (see also ‘Pillow varieties’), nail file, shaving kit, cotton buds, toothbrush set. Please contact the reception (extension 95).

Shoe polisher

An electric shoe polisher can be found in the basement, directly in front of the lavatories. Also, you can find a shoe sponge in your room. You can receive further shoe sponges from the front-desk staff (extension 95).


You may borrow slippers from our sauna. Please contact the reception (extension 95).


The nearest taxi stand is at Reichenbachplatz. There are almost always taxis waiting there. Should you wish to order a taxi to the hotel, our front-desk staff will be delighted to order one for you (extension 95).


You can initiate outside calls directly from your room. Please dial the country code and the number (if you use a country code for Germany as well, you do not have to dial the ‘0’ usually appearing at the beginning of German phone numbers). One call unit costs €0.25, in accordance with our contract with Deutsche Telekom. If someone wants to call you in your room from outside, the number is +49/89 23 11 66 + ‘your room number’. Calls between rooms are free of charge, you only need to dial the respective room number.

Travel adapter

In case your plug is not based on the general EU standards, we have a variety of adapters. Please contact the reception if you wish to borrow one.  A deposit (€ 10) will be charged to your hotel bill. The deposit will be cancelled from the bill and reimbursed when you return the adapter.

Travel tips and sightseeing activities

We are happy to recommend sightseeing options to you. Our reception staff can assist you further (extension 95). Here you can also find recommendations and tickets online.


Our front-desk staff can provide umbrellas for you, should you need any. A safety deposit of €10 will be charged to your room account and will be cancelled as soon as the umbrella is returned.


Surprise your friends and relatives with something special. You can buy vouchers at our reception that are valid for our hotel, restaurant and sauna.

Wake-up service

Should you need a wake-up call, please inform the reception (extension 95).


Our website (www.deutsche-eiche.com) has all the relevant information on our hotel, restaurant, rooftop bar and sauna. You can also take a 360° panorama tour of the building interior.
